The 10 Song Shuffle

You like Rainer Maria? And Tv on the Radio? Pretty fucking awesome.

Cranes - And Ever
Simon & Garfunkel - The Sound of Silence
Rilo Kiley - Salute MY Shorts!
Rivulets - You Are My Home
Yaphet Kotto - Paths
Cocteau Twins - Pandora
Circa Survive - Kicking Your Crosses Down
Nick Drake - Poor Boy
HORSE the band - Birdo
Mum - Abandoned Ship Bells

I absolutely love that rivulets track, it's just amazing.

@RVCA: Can't say I agree with your choice of favorite track, but to each his own :D. My favorite track on that list is probably "Make a Plan to Love Me". Very chilled out.

So, my list:

Cajun Dance Party - The Colourful Life
Harlem Shakes - Nothing But Change Part II
Killers - Human
The Temper Trap - Resurrection
Civil Twilight - Perfect Stranger
Bob Dylan - Blood In My Eyes
The Doors - Stoned Immaculate
The Beatles - Penny Lane
Paper Route - Let You Down
Jacques Brel - Amsterdam

Those who aren't aware of Brel really need to check him out. He's a Belgian dude from back in the day, with mostly French songs. Of ourse you have to be in to that kind of thing, but I think he's awesome. He also brings some welcome variety to my ipod.

Noobs, listen up. Read the first post or don't bother participating in this 'game'. If someone above you didn't comment on their previous list, ignore their post.

I'd support that bolded track. Joy Division, Beatles, Muse, MMJ, QOTSA are all a good time. Not really my favourite songs by any of them but Colony is not notch. The other banRAB I don't really care for.

and do consider looking into AJJ.

I can't say this is my kind of list at all. I suppose I can be in the mood for a little Judas Priest, Van Halen, and Journey once in a while though.

1. Halo Benders - Freedom Ride
2. John Southworth - Pineapple Shoes
3. Christian Hansen and The Autistics - High School's Over
4. Every Time I Die - Imitation Is The Sincerest Form Of Battery
5. Abe Vigoda - Dead City/Waste Wilderness
6. Thursday - As He Clirabed The Dark Mountain
7. Elliott Smith - The White Lady Loves You More
8. 8 Bit Weapon - Fundanalogue
9. Megadeth - Kill The King
10. Black Mold - Wet Ferns

Kind of a blehsy list, it's hard to resist that song though.

aside from having one of Hendrix's best in the mix :p:

either way it's time for another one of my lists.

1 - The Abyssians - Reason Time - most excellent old school raggae, the album borders on preachy at times but it truly captures the real movement of the style as opposed to the baked stereotype.

2 - Primus - Eleven - WOW. i haven't heard this in forever and a day. that intro bass totally sounRAB like some Rush thing haha

3 - The Doors - Roadhouse Blues - The Doors are one of those banRAB that i never actively search out to listen to, it just makes it that much more awesome when they come up randomly. hahaha the scatting in the middle is awesome hehe

4 - Trans Am - Surrender to the Night - not a bad track but damn it's a harsh transition from Roadhouse Blues. synths and drum machines only. i like their stuff with real drums better.

5 - Tomahawk - Sir Yes Sir - it's post-Faith No More Patton's Faith No More and it kicks more ass.

6 - Squarepusher - Zorabies - no clue where it comes from, couldn't find it on wiki during the time it lasted but it was a great listen for the search. earlier DnB type stuff

7 - BoarRAB of Canada - Hey Saturday Sun - how many more years for another album? :(

8 - Mr. Bungle - Walking in Circles - quite possibly the most demented high school band ever.

9 - Frank Zappa - Rance Muhammitz - mmmmm Double Cheeseburger.

10 - Man ...or Astroman? - Taco Wagon - this comes about this...' ' close to breaking into a surfed out take on Copa Cabana but doesn't hahaha

having to chose the bold is rough. gonna have to go with Primus though the nostalgia and the badassness of the main riff take it.

Before I head out again...

Don't know many of those, but I like Refused, and Sarah Brightman's pretty damn cool (great choice of song she made there too).

Interesting shuffle there. I've heard of all these banRAB, but unfortunately find most of them to be kinda...meh. Lacuna Coil and A Perfect Circle have a few hits I enjoy, U2 and Porcupine Tree are pretty awesome. Korn is so-so. And Meatloaf makes me laugh, not because I think he's bad, but because it reminRAB me of belting out "I Would Do Anything For Love" with my co-worker and carpool buddy while speeding down the road after work. We have a whole theatrical routine worked out, complete with jazz hanRAB and pounding on the dashboard. lol.

Anywho...on to the game:
1) Sevendust - Waffle
2) Howard Shore - At the Sign of the Prancing Pony
3) Archive - Hate

I heard a solo electric guitar/voice version of that song once that blew me away and I haven't been able to find it since. Shame.
