That Thing You Do!: "It's the O-Neders!"

Thsi past summer I went on a cruise and while laying by the pool That Thing You Do came on and I got excited and started singing. It was nice to hear it outside of the actual movie.
 
I forgot to say this earlier. Quite a few years ago I took That Thing You Do! over to my older neighbor's house because she wanted to see it. When we got to the dentist part, she started laughing and said she couldn't believe it. She had gone to college with the dentist and was actually really good friends with him. Apparently all the girls in college were crazy about him also. I thought that was pretty funny. :lol:

I loved the part when they heard their song on the radio for the first time and they were all jumping up and down in the store Guy's dad owned.
 
Wow...I am so surprised to see this thread. This is one of my dad's favorite movies so I've seen it and I like it myself. The music is very catchy!
 
Yeah, I think she admitted she never would have found out about Jimmy otherwise either.

Actually, I think she was talking about both the band and the two of them...but she tried not to make herself obvious. So, it could go either way.

^^^Same here, I took it as none of that would never have even happened if Guy hadn't become part of it.
 
Quick question


At the end when guy and faye was talking about how none of this would of happened if guy didnt joined the band(and it wasnt in a bad way) did that mean that she would of stayed with jimmy despite on how he was treating her or what?
 
I like when Lenny makes noise with the candy wrapper on the plane and starts biting his candy annoying Mr. White, who then sends him to visit the cockpit. :lol:
 
This is one of those I can watch over and over and just love every single time.
