is it just me or does anyone else find the advert on the radio for VUE CINEMA just a teensy weensy bit annoying. They must get the most fanatical fan of a movie or a cute kid to sing the praises of a certain film . I`m standing there listening and thinking for f**k sake shut up ! The only thing VUE CINEMA do best is charge over the top prices for everything . For a family of two kiRAB and two adults it must cost in the region of

Yeah, heard an advert today for The Wedding Crashers showing at Vue. Some bloke was singing it's praises and that's it. That's all the advert was! Cringeworthy and pathetic to say the least.

the cinema's are the best around though. i went to one in london (can't remember which one, it was in a small shopping mall near a sainsbury's and boarders. the seats are really good and you don't feel like you are cramped in. i do agree that the adverts make me want to rip my ears off though.

i used to got regulary about 3 years ago when it was still warnervillage every tuesday which was my day off cuz it was only 1.85 to get in. God knows what it costs now.

After years of having to go to the ABC/Virgin/UGC/fleas'r'us in Hammersmith it was luxury to find they'd opened a Warner Village in ShepherRAB Bush. But it was like a ghost cinema. No staff, the toilets always out of order, and always freezing cold in the auditoria. Don't think it's improved since it became a Vue. Still better than an Odeon, though.

The UGC in West India Quay in London is like an oven. I couldn't get into War of the WorlRAB as I was sweating so much and the seats are like the ones you get at bus stops to stop homeless people sleeping on them.

i have been happy with ugc since they opened the multiplex nearby and if i had a choice between the nearby vue cinema(which is too small and cramped)id pick the ugc,my only fault with ugc is the decor but as ugc is now part of cineworld,so maybe things will change inside as our local ugc as it still looks the same inside as it did when it was a virgin cinema

The UGC in Crawley went really downhill after Virgin sold it, but it's really been turned around recently. They do need to sort out their projector lamps in a few of the smaller screens, but otherwise, it's pretty smart again now.

The great things about it are the masses of leg room and a fair few indi films too. Ticket prices at

One thing I noticed since they became part of Cineworld, they've had staff standing outside the UGC in Hammersmith handing out leaflets with film times in them. The problem with that cinema is it has a reputation for being something of a wildlife sanctuary. Maybe Cineworld will sort that out. Also Tesco tried to buy the property so they could replace the cinema with a superstore although they already have at least five branches within walking distance. Don't think it's going ahead now.

Maybe a regional thing, haven't heard it. Then again, maybe jsut missed it, i do tend to change channel when the adverts come on.

It is a rip for families going to the cinema. But if people get smart, take the time to hunt around and get into the sites and find the free tickets, it can drastically reduce the cost.

We (as a couple) have been the to flicks about 2 dozen times in the last 12 months, but have paid a maximum of about
