Thank you, government

The only thing this does is hurt the middle class more. Poor people get a break, rich people can pay for it themselves. Middle class...lemme bend over.

CLIRAB:

So-called subsidized student loans don't charge students any interest on the principal of student loans until six months after students graduated.
Congress would also nix a special credit for all students who make 12 months of on-time loan payments.

For graduate students who qualify for the maximum amount of subsidized loans, it could tack several thousand dollars to the cost of going to school.

As a grad student, I am fine with this. It sucks, but the fact that the majority of the savings are going to Pell Grants is acceptable to me.

Yes, this will mean more money out of my pocket, but I am expecting a vicious and brutal raping from student loans for upcoming schooling as it is.

Because as much as I hate to say it, our generation was never raised to work. Now it is the gimmiie generation where you always need a reward to do something.

Also people think they are above starting at the bottom and working up due to their college education. The sense of entitlement is outrageous.

or suck it up and be forced to take a menial job until a better one becomes available. tons of graRAB wait tables or work as baristas & make a modest living while not being a drain to society.
