Texting issues

I was wondering if anyone else was having the same issue im having. I was with a carrier (Qwest) that uses sprint as their backbone and since i ported my nuraber over from them i cant text people that use sprint. Could this be something that went wrong with my port (my thinking) or is it cause i have a flashed phone. I had my phone flashed and had a cricket nuraber on it for a few days and i was able to text sprint people. The day that i ported my nuraber over is when i discovered that texting sprint people didnt work. Ive tried the *288 a few times and called but the give the "we cant guarantee texting bs line"

Any help please?
 
I have a similar problem with mine. I can send to people with sprint all day long and they receive them, I just don't receive text back from them.

same thing goes for people that I text who have att/cingular.

its pretty ridiculous actually and a complete pain in the rump.

I called them a few days ago and they opened a ticket to get things looked at. I will update on friday when they (hopefully) have a resolution.
 
IM not entirely sure what they did. The rep said it had had something to do with the other carriers not being notified that cricket now owns the nuraber. I would give the ported nuraber team a call and hopefully they can get you going as well.
