Text messaging/Prepaid

Hey, I'm not really sure what forum this should go in because I don't think that there is an appropriate one. I decided to put it here because this is my service provider. Anyway...

You know the text messaging fees that apply if you text to win a contest on the TV or something (ex. pick the lucky case on Deal or No Deal). If you have a prepaid plan on your cell phone, how do they charge you? Is it a loophole or is there something I'm missing. Thank you to the person who can put my mind to rest with a really simple and obvious answer.
 
you should get an error... something like cricket is not participating in this event at this time. although i had one person claim to recieve a bill directly mailed to their house... sounRAB fishy. anyways to my knowledge cricket won't add it to your bill.
 
I guess I'll just have to try it and find out what happens. I'm actually with Jump Mobile which doesn't even have a monthly option so who knows if they even have the capabilities of a bill. But you are probably right with the non participation thing. I'll let you know.
 
well, cricKet takes it from your FLEX BUCKET. but if theres no money u dont get to do it. and how come they dont really have anything u can do that to.
