Text messages not going through (TMO)

I 100% agree with you on this. I had this problem 2 weeks ago and got a $5 credit. Now it's doing it again, and I'm getting pretty pissed seeing it's a friday night and I'm trying to see what everyone is up too.



I am really starting to consider throwing the towel in on Thumbs down- Mobile.. And I have been with them since 2002...


Edit: Just called and got another $5.00 credit but it's really not even worth the inconvenience and frustration..
 
yeah me and my daughter are having the same problem here in ohio...at first i thought it was our phones because we got new ones but maybe not.i was able to send texts just fine in the am but if i try to send a ringtone to someone or even my daughter she wont get it....can it be the system since tmobile doesnt know i have a new phone and they still have me as having a motorola rizr? and not a pearl? or wouldnt that matter? and if someone can tell me an easy way to send a ringtone to someone it be great...before with my rizr all i had to do was go to the tone, then options then send to and i cant find any options like that on the pearl thanks.............mark s.
 
This issue has been ongoing since October 31st. T-Mobile was originally giving $5 credit on your bill. I'm not sure if that's still the case. There was a thread about it awhile ago.

Same issue here! I have called about it millions of times and have even been given a brand new pearl! But this does not solve anything does it? Come on T-Mobile, you guys have been horrible from the start and I would not have you if it wasn't for the stupid contracts! This is almost a danger issue in my position!

I've had this problem earlier in the year and it was so bad that the person I was texting wouldn't get the message for 10 hours. Its happened on and off since then and now its worse. Sometimes the person doesn't get them at all.how do I get the 5 bucks? Just call and complain?
 
Yes, it is ridiculous. This has been an issue for me and obviously many others for quite some time. The lady I recently spoke to told me to "give them some time, and their engineers will have the problem solved." Obviously not! I don't know what else to do, but it really is a pretty big issue.
 
I'm in georgia and same problem here people I send mms to can't even get them! As far as sending ringtones goes super if you highlight the tone and push the menu button for the full menu you should see a send as mms option click it and it will take you to the message just have to add who to send it too!~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~
 
yes she does she has the tmobile dash but i figured out how to do that today...real nice doing it that way saves me text messages!!
 
About 5yrs ago verison was the biggest and best. They were great. You pretty much could say were a "monoply". So they had all these customers and started over charging or tacking on a bunch of fees. I think I still "owe" them like $800 for two months of use.
then the Sim chips came out and pre-paid took off. Cingular offered a good deal. Stole all verisons customers. Now Cingular is changing the pre-paid layout and cost. Greedy. everyone is so greedy. But verison has redemed them self lately . With good customer care and cheap features added.
Personally if I'm to switch it will be ATT. But it wouldn't be cause of the iphone it's nice but in tech. the first is always the most exspensive and worst product.
