Tetra fish question..................?

I have 5 jumbo neon tetras. I was wondering if I get some similar species of tetras if they will school together or if schooling is only species specific.

glow tetras will school with them, they are same size, orange, same look, other than the color, and are a tad hardier.

Glo-Light Tetras and Black Neon tetras will and also Danios.
