Tethering with Cricket?

I'm currently with T-Mobile in Rochester, and they are shafting me on a new phone, and will not let me change my plan without signing a contract (which, after I was treated like last time, I refuse to). While I'll miss having a SIM card, I'm more concerned on wireless data, a feature I use quite heavily on T-Mobile. As far as I can tell, Cricket offers wireless data, but I'm not sure if I can tether using 1xRTT. Is there an offically policy on this?

If its a cricket BRanded cell phone you can do it. But if its a flashed phone like a 6700 berry has figured out how to do and a few others have. So on flashed phones you can tether.

I have a Verizon Treo 650, a Verizon v710 w/ Telus flash and such. I'm just totally pissed on how T-Mobile shafted me. As it stanRAB, I'm looking at Boost (which is actually more appealing at the moment due to its larger sphere of coverage, and they allow tethering per the agreement you sign with them, although I dislike their lack of smartphones and such :-/).

i am quite new to this, and I'm trying to find out if it's possible to tether my Cricket phone to my laptop, I have a starcom ut phone, my package included internet, but the phone of course does not have a browser. anyone have any info that could help>

I have successfully teathered a xv6700 and a lg6000 with cricket and winxp. I have had no success with my slider though. And at the moment, it really is not worth it because you have to enter the proxy settings into IE and speeRAB are verrry slow.
