Tethering to laptop with wm6

Anyone done it? Any advice? I haven't tethered my phone since we very first got everything working.. now I need to know, and i don't have the answers.

Any help?

(it's an xv6700,just so we're all clear).

i have done it using these drivers and programs
comes with instructions i dont think it will be to hard be if u have any questions after trying let me know and ill see if i can help

Here's how I do it:

1. Install ActiveSync 4.5 on the PC that you want to share your connection with.

2. Start Internet Sharing on your phone. It should automaticaly connect to your dialup and display a message along the lines of, "check USB connection."

3. Connect your phone to your PC. Windows should create a new network connection and ActiveSync should not connect. If ActiveSync does connect, right click its tray icon, click Connection Settings, and disable USB connections.

4. Change your web browser of choice so that it connects through proxy wap.mycricket.com:8080.

Do you need the 6700 drivers installed on your comp?

ActiveSync 4.5 takes care of all of the drivers that you'll need.

Note that there is a bug about Internet Sharing in WM6 posted on PPCGeeks. Something about only Bluetooth working and not USB...
