tethering on vx8300

ok i fully gat everything working...msm internet etc......i wanted 2 use my phone 4 tethering.....when i use verizons vzaccess manager it conects peerfectly but it kicks me off sys wrong user name and password....so i figured i will make a new conection....but when i use it it wont even dial..it says remote computer did not respond.....is there any other way 2 use it as a modem???? i have all tools as needed so can some one help
 
Did you put #777 as the nuraber to dial on the new connection? I have tethered with the vx8300 b4 with no problem. You can follow the last part of my USB720 tutorial for setting up the connection.
