tether on a cricket lingo??

is it possible to tether a laptop on a cricket lingo? and I only have the 1040 prl is it possible to load the 1050 prl ota to my lingo so that I can access evdo on my mobile web browser? :disappoin
 
The Lingo is a 1x only phone so tethering would be limited to around 60-80 kbps with a good signal. If you still wanna do it, you'd have to ask someone else. But just as a warning the Lingo is NOT EvDO so it may or may not be worth the efforrt.
