I'm working on a friends electric guitar, I just cleaned the pots that were causing quite a bit of noise but I'm not sure how to check if they are okay or not. The strings are off and I don't want to put the new ones on until I'm sure I don't need to replace the pot, it's way to hard with the strings on. Any suggestions? Best idea gets 10+ points! Thanks guys!
