i tested the starter today i connected both positive and nagative to battery of car and the negative to the solenoid and touched the body of the starter with the positve while the starter was still intact with the motor and i only hear it turn over around once or twice sometimes when i keep it touching the body of the starter it just keeps turning over. could it be the starter? the solenoid? or the battery? thank you also this is for a honda cb550 chopper motorcycle.
