If you get "Insert SIM" after wrong testpoint cut, you can still repair it, with advanced solder/resolder skills. You must desolder CPU IC, and solder tiny wires. Hard work, but for me is 10 minutes work.
Testpoint is easy, after I killed one phone, and repaired with wires, now I cut more carrefully, and with no problems.
