test point doubt

track cut method is ok for me.
but the test point picture shows a point thats it.
what i should do with this?Should i solder this point to sheild with or without some components.infact i want to know how to make test point for c72.
 
Connect that point with ground !

I always use a pure wire, without any components on it for those phones
