My computer randomly shuts down with no warning
! the power saver mode is off
! I have reinstalled windows
! There is no virus/spyware
! Not over heating.
The only thing that geek squad tells me is that if it is power supply (and it sounds like it is *they say*) They have to mail my computer to gateway to get it fixed. I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO DO THIS.
Geek squad (best buy) is 3 hours from where I live so I just want to know if there is any way I can test my power supply to see if that is why it shuts down.
I can take a power supply from my old gateway pc and put it in this one if that is the case.. id rather do that then send it in to factory.
