I found a substance that looks like a drug it is a white powder. How can I test it for DMT or other drugs? The local police tested it for Meth and Cocaine and it came back negative.
Unless you have a fairly sophisticated laboratory and access to chemical journals, you can't test for DMT (dimethyltryptamine). NMS Labs conducts tests for solid DMT (test #7465SL) and DMT in blood (test #9156B). I don't know the cost of the tests, but it will be very expensive. NMS Labs is a national reference laboratoty serving, among others, the criminal justice system.
