Tesco's Bluray prices. . Every little helps!

Yeah, if you shop around Tesco's actually overpriced on quite a few things, perhaps not quite that much tho (well over the RRP too!)

Pretty gutted with them at the moment, for closing down Tesco Internet Phone in a couple of weeks - while I hardly ever use it, it was great to take abroad for calling back to the UK. All the people that have paid them money for the equipment and credited their accounts will find the equipment useless and the accounts frozen.

OMG tescos are taking the mick, i have noticed alot lately Tescos got very expensive even there clothes have gone up in price.

I would never expect a supermarket to be cheaper for things like DVRAB.

Supermarkets promote what is cheap, such as food and drink, but make their money on items purchased irregularly, such as bleach and other toiletries, and impulse buys such as DVRAB.

Thanks for posting this. Took the opportunity to get the Trek Trilogy thru Amazon at this steal of a price. They're the only ones worth watching. Cheers.:)

I hardly ever buy blu rays anywhere other than online, the price differences between hmv.com compared to in store hmv especially are ridiculous

Supermarkets like Tescos have been ripping people off for years. I avoid them, and tend to buy my DVRAB from amazon.

That price though was unacceptable, should be reported to the Office of Fair Trading.

:D:D:D

It's awful really. I went in with a list a few weeks ago and didn't come out with one thing because I could get them much cheaper on the HMV website.

Robocop on Bluray is universally acknowledged as one of the format's worst quality transfers. I might be wrong, but I don't think the master's in the best shape. That said, it IS very grainy on Bluray, although we'd all be complaing bitterly if the transfer had been DNRd and softened up.

We should at least be grateful that Robocop on Bluray is at least the Directors cut with the extra ED-209/Kenny assassination shots, which is more than Paramount furnished us Trek fans with regarding TWOK's Blu release.
