I love the Terminator movies and i think the 4th one will be great. Whos eles is looking forward for this movie?.

I heard that the guy who played John Conner in Terminator 2 (Edward Furlong) will be returning to play john conner in Terminator 4 for sure, well that hes signed to play the part again, anyone know if thats true?.

Shame Arnold Schwarzenegger is ment to only have about 30 seconRAB in the movie when they make it but im sure the movie will still be great.

Without Arnie as the main star you have to wonder what the point is (although they are supposedly going to use a digital version of his younger self for 'skinjob' T-800 Terminators). It's gonna be set during the future war which is something we should only ever see short clips of IMO.

What I liked about T3 is that suddenly we didn't know the outcome (although we really SHOULD have considering that if they really COULD stop Judgement Day from happening then there would never have been a future war from which the Terminators could have been sent back in time from...or whatever...)

I've enjoyed all Terminator films although T3 did seem to be lacking something but maybe it was just due to fact it was impossible to follow 2 landmark movies so it was always going to come across as quite lowkey in comparrison.

From what I gather their is going to be a new trilogy and Furlong is in talks (nothing else),but he probably will get the role I think.
The Rock was always tipped to get the terminator role but because he demanRAB more salary now I believe a newcomer will get the part.

I hope the new one is really dark & scary like the original but because they will aim for the 15 cert market they will go for the overblown effects option aka T2 & T3.

This was on Moviehole.net about Terminator 4:

"Both series’ fans and Oak buRAB are waiting anxiously to hear what Halycon’s plans for the new “Terminator” is – will it feature a Schwarzenegger cameo? (doubtful, me thinks); will it follow the events of the last movie or jump ahead in time?; will any of the supporting cast from the previous films return?; and is there any truth to the rumours that Rachel Weisz and Chloe Sevigny are ‘battling’ it out to play the new femme-bot in the movie? Though only a couple of those questions were answered, James Middleton, consulting producer on the new FOX TV series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, tells IGN Movies painted a clearer picture of the new movie.

At this present time –
• No director is attached
• The characters of John Connor and Kate Brewster do appear in the script though it’s not known whether Nick Stahl or Clare Danes will reprise their roles from “Rise of the Machines”; that may come down to who the director wants.
• It won’t be called “Terminator 4” but more so something like “Terminator : Blah, Blah, Blah” sans a number.
• It will follow the events of “Terminator 3” and be set in a post-apocalyptic world.
• The movie will feature a new hero as the main character. Middleton likened it to how "Ben-Hur was influenced by Jesus Christ, but it was his story. Much in that way, this character will be influenced by John Connor."
• It’s planned to be the first of three new “Terminator” movies, all of them set in this post-apocalyptic future and showing the war with the machines.
• Halcyon would like to be in pre-production in October with an eye towarRAB a 2009 release."

Give it to Shia LaBoeuf and Michael Bay I say.

Seriously though, the more Terminator movies and TV shows they make the more of a paradoxical nonsense the plot becomes. T3 had its moments but they should have stopped at 2.

i met Nick Stahl at an event last year and he told me that he was offered the T4 script but wasnt interested in it, so (unless the script has been radically changed) it looks like this film will be worse than T3 which he happily signed up to (which wasn't that bad, but not in the same league as the first two).

He also mentioned that it was all set in the future and there would be no time travelling and he doubted that Arnie would be in it.

From all the descriptions i have read this project sounRAB horribly close to TV movie territory

I think the weakest point of T3 was Arnie. There is plenty of mileage in the story, with the human-machine war. There is no need for an Arnie, apart from the point here John Connor senRAB the terminator back. In fact, with this in mind it could be good if a decent script is written

Thats if they hadnt done a repeat of terminator 2.

T3 should have been set wholly in the future instead of milking the story of the robot going back.

T3 was very good imho. The castings were just right. If they could bring back Nick Stahl, Claire Danes and with Vin Diesel helping them?! I think it could work very well indeed.

I just watched T3 today and i enjoyed it as a film and without Arnie you can't really make another in my opinion because Arnie's catchphrase's make him The Terminator and nobody else can really do it
