Terminator 3

I watched this film twice lol.........In the cinema and by no choice at my frienRAB house on DVD. The DVD quality was shit beyond relief........The sounRAB was all mixed and the picture was quite dark......how a hell someone can watch and enjoy that is beyond me........!

I liked the film.......I wasn't really expecting much from the film......maybe thats why i enjoyed it more......Interesting end though!

I can't recall too much if anything that would be cut over here. A lot of the violence is 'implied' (i.e. off camera). The T-X kills a number of humans but i can't remember seeing her actually kill anyone onscreen. The action scenes towarRAB the end have a number of human casualties but not in an over the top 'nasty' way.

Stick with the big screen!

I'd give it 7/10 - by no means a bad movie, just slightly below expectation with regarRAB to atmosphere.

It's good that they left the film where they did for the sequel. T4 - going to be man vs machine in a dystopian future, and vaguely resemble a vietnam action movie - now who would be the perfect director for that movie COUGH*James Cameron*COUGH. :D

When I first saw the trailers on the telly, I thought to myself, "Oh, no.They've buggered it up. This looks shit....". And when I was handed the DVD of this film yesterday, I still felt that way, but I wanted to see for myself how good or bad it was.

Would I be surprised and end up watching one of the best action film sequels ever? Or would I end up watching the typical Hollywood milking which all good films have suffered....

My full review of the film is too long to type here, but if anyone wants to read it and chalenge me on my views, read it here and post a reply here.

Padzter :D

I think it would be a real shame if it was watered down, with no swearing or blood, violence etc. Some of the more violent scenes were some of the high points of the first 2 films. If they have extracted alot of the violence and made it 12A so the kiddies can go, I'll probably not go to see it at all...

Padzter :D

I agree with an awful lot of what you said Padzter, especially the first point you made. That is why T2: Special Edition was so good - it expanded on that backstory and fleshed out the Sarah Connor character an awful lot.

I hated that moment with the glasses too - but in a way I can understand it; where else does the franchise have to go? I think that's why I was so tolerant in the end - I knew it was going to be pretty darned lame so I just sat back and took it for the 'camped-up spoof' of a movie that it turned out to be.

Can't wait for the UK release, the word is definately good!
The action segments are supposed to be amazing, and they haven't spoilt the efx by going totally CGI? SounRAB like an actioner straight out the old skool, the best skool!

Ah right I see with what you mean KICKED.

3EB yes as you have stated it is a 12A...

Pretty suprised by that since I heard it been rated R in USA would have thought it would be rated 15 over here. But our certification process has been laxed a bit since James Furman left the BBFC.

Oh well, on the one hand I suppose they want to open the Terminator saga to a whole new generation so obviously that explains the 12A rating which will ensure maximum profits for the studio and producers!

Still though, the existing generation of Terminator movies in particular the second movie would have ensured major cash revenue for the producers. As T2 was a blockbuster with audiences worldwide.

Oh well, roll on the movie. I still think it is going to be an ace movie, word has it that the ending is supposed to be one of them great movie endings of all time.

Please don't get bored with this issue, but I have to bring up the fact that the UK distributor may have cut T3 to get a 12 A. In the eyes of the BBFC they have not made any cuts so the work is passed uncut. What do people think? P.S. this is my first message and I have many more questions to post.

Yeah, it's relaxed so much they had to CUT a PG13 movie like "2 FAST 2 FURIOUS". But they let go a popular movie like T3. Why? cos more people would notice.

Let's face it the BBFC is a JOKE!!
