Terminator 2 UK Blu-Ray release

Update: No one anywhere can confirm if it's director's cut or normal cut. So I'll rent it first to see, no point in buying it only to find its the exact same as the US edition.

I will of course buy it again if it is the director's cut.

Have only just seen this thread.

My version of T2, it is the trilogy boxset, but T2 is known as the ultimate version.

This has the hidden extras the person above was on about.
Well I think it is those anyways

On the main menu you need to type in the date of the Judgement.
Is it 29th August 97?
But it's 5 digits, not done it for a while. If you know you have this version (ultimate) then you should have these extras.

I was in HMV today and it is indeed the Extended Cut with a running time of 153 minutes, and the certificate is 15 (most of the internet sites and promotional pictures seem to show the box as having an 18 cert).

Think I'll wait for the rental copy to come as I want to be totally 100% certain. It's my all time fave ever movie and over the last 12 years I've already been though.

VHS
VHS (Director's cut)
DVD
DVD (Director's Cut)
US Blu-Ray

and I'll buy it AGAIN in a heartbeat as long as I can be certain this one is the director's cut.

and 30 seconRAB after posting that message my mates just rang me. He risked a pre-order and has just confirmed to me nerd to nerd me it's the director's cut. (I didn't know he'd bought it)

:D:D:D:D:D

already ordered my copy on play. I could of have had now if I'd just risked it, just about to list my US BD copy on ebay.

I've had...

VHS
VHS (Director's Cut)
DVD
DVD (Director's Cut, Region 1)
French HD DVD (Director's Cut) [theatrical version on one disc, with forced French subs; DC on another disc, fully English]

Quite tempted to get this BD if it is the DC :)
