Terminator 2 in 3D - never done before!

Some people find this time of year difficult. Some drink themselves into oblivion, or eat till they burst, or go away somewhere hot...& others just crack under the pressure.
 
You are definitely seeing things...

You do realise that the x wing is SUPPOSED to be behind the other two? It's not your magical video editing software that's making it do it. It's the way it was filmed.
 
Amazing news. Seriously. I've found a way to save the data in far better resolution. It looks vastly superior. I'm going to delete all my current videos and upload them again in higher resolution. They will look a lot better! Bye for now!

You will see Star Wars as no-one has ever seen it before. :) :)
 
The effect works well at the start when the New Terminator is talking to the 2 girls. You can really see that they are in front of him and there is a distance between them and the car.

It doesn't really add anything to the viewing experience though.

I'll put up higher resolution clips and larger of Terminator 2 and Star Wars but it may take until tomorrow. At the moment I'm just doing demos to see which have the best resolution. Sort of a work in progress. :)
 
Well it's been a few fiddly hours perfecting my 3d technique. To cut to the chase... here is the modified 3D depth clip of Star Wars.

I think there is a bit more depth between things, like the ship coming down above the ones below at the 3 seconRAB mark. It does look less flat. I would call it depth vision - not quite true 3D but perhaps the best you can get it to look without glasses. I think it adRAB an extra dimension to it. :)

I can't help but think floopy is beavering away somewhere, perfecting his magic eye 2d3d film clips. Readying his next masterpiece. i watched the latest Star wars one last night and it looked sort of 3d but I was awfully pissed so who knows...:D
