Okay, so I have limped severely and been mainly bedridden for 9 months. I am now post op 8 weeks from my fusion, and on neurontin that is working VERY well along with the 10mg vicoden to get rid of the pain and limp finally, I am walking almost completely normal even thou I am slow.

I now have SEVERE pain (mind you I'm on 10mg vicoden!) on the outer edge of my foot near that little nub that sticks out, and its swollen and I cant hardly walk on it. I called the dr, whom I am to see this Tuesday who the nurse said possibly tendonitis, due to the limp being almost gone, and now I'm using muscles and tendons I havent used in 9 months. It hurts terribly, and is swollen, they want me to wait until Tuesday- and called in a steroid pack for me.

IT HURTS BADLY. I wrapped it with an ace, which doesnt help much and is throbbing alot.
It was very swollen last nite, I put ice on it etc. But its coming back, and I have TWO bday parties one friday, one sunday, for my daughter that I HAVETO prepare for, I cant be off my feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone had tendonitis?? In your foot or anywhere? What do they do to fix it? I cant take this I finally get rid of the limp for ONCE in NINE MONTHS and now I have ANOTHER limp if not worse on my good side and they think tendonitis!!! AGK!!!! They said dr may take xrays when I go tuesday, it seems a bit long to wait don't you think???

What the heck should I do!
