Tenchi Muyo on toonami

Which one did they air? I have been trying to find out which dvRAB to buy for the ones aired on toonami, and I can't find out if it is Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki, or tenchi universe. I check the description for the dvRAB, but both can match it quite well.

I think that it was mostly Tenchi muyo universe I started to look back at some episodes and I remeraber some of them. They might have included some tenchi in tokyo too.

I think it was Tenchi Universe as well. They did show Tenchi in Tokyo for a very short run. I can still remeraber Ayeka yelling "where the hell is Sendai" (cracked me up)

Tenchi Muyo was the first to air on toonami then Universe and lastly Tenchi in Tokyo. Thats what I remeraber.

They aired all the TV series (Muyo, Universe and Tokyo) all the other OVA's and stuff weren't aired.

Thank you for the information. I was planning to get all of the different parts of the series eventually, but I wanted to start out with what I already watched.

I just finished tenchi muyo and tenchi universe. Im currently working on the the last three disks of Tenchi in Tokyo and I gota say it is pretty good. I was expecting for it to get a little dry and boring after a while but it is still funny. Mostly with the facial expressions especially Ayaka.

I agree...Tampering with there date is a unforgivable sin. but, Sakuya in general was a "okay" character. Not to annoying, not to boring and cute enough to make you wish she was in love with you.

Just be glad that they didn't air Daughter of Darkness. What they heck was that whole thing about anyway? And the original title was even stranger.

Sometimes the Story Plot confizzles me cause first Tenchi is Jurian then in Tenchi In Tokyo hes not and they just got me real messed up lol

Yeah, I have to say that Tokyo was my least favorite of the Tenchi series. Although i'm a devoted fan i can't help but think what they COULD of done with it..Maybe if the animation was similar to the other series then maybe it could of been better...But, Its Tenchi and i love it!
