Well, you can always import it since the US and Japan share a blu-ray region, if Geneon even bothers region-coding the release at all.

That would be my guess. FUNimation wants all rights to a series, including Blu-Ray. Question is, what is Geneon Japan's move now? Are they going to try to direct sell the movies in the U.S.? If so, are they going to follow the failed strategy of trying to sell the BRD's here for the same outrageous prices they charge otaku in Japan?
