I sure do hope this doesn't turn out to be one of those idiotic family films in the vein of Alvin and the Chipmunks, that try to appeal to adults with "edgy" humor. Babar is the LAST cartoon character that should recive that kind of treatment, since his books and cartoons were almays so sweet and innocent.

Summit Entertament should market the Babar movies.

I really hope they do NOT Screw this up and get a company like ILM or Framestore to do the effects (Not that I don't like Rhythm and Hues, but they're way overused in films like these).

And the part about screwing up is that I don't want them making the elephants act like people you'd find in the streets of New York talking like... Well, imagine the Twins from Revenge of the Fallen. That's what I don't want.
