I have an LG Voyager and the charger port on my phone is broken and I can no longer use my phone. I had taken it to Telus to get it fixed but my warranty is already finished and the phone is discontinued so I have to buy a new phone.
Anyways, I still have about 2 years left in my contract so I can't upgrade but recently my father and mother's contracts had expired and they were offered a free phone with contract renewal, of course. I was wondering if it's possible for let's say my mom gets the free phone but she transfers the phone to my number/account and so I wouldn't have to buy another $200 phone :/ Like my mom would simply renew her contract for another 3 years but I'd have her new phone.
