Telus Optic: Does watching TV slow down your internet while they are both in simultaneous use?

My family is looking at changing from Shaw internet and TV, to Telus Optic TV and internet. (we already have Telus home phone) I'm just wondering if when someone is watching TV that it will slow down the speed of the internet for someone that is using the internet while the other is watching TV.
