So i rang the telstra number to unlock my iPhone and told them all the relevant info and they did their part and said to wait 72 hours for the unlock to be successful and after that to connect to iTunes so its been well over 72 hours and i connected to iTunes and its my understanding that you have to restore your phone is that right, so i did that but then i understand that a message is meant to come up and say something along the lines of 'congrats your iPhone is unlocked.' This never happened so im wondering what went wrong or am i missing a step.
Also i have read that for the unlock to be successful u need another company's sim card, well this is basically impossible because i am travelling to the USA and plan to buy a sim card over there. So the overall question is what am i supposed to do?
