Hi.

My name is Felicia Annelise, and I used to be a writer.

I had various poems published as a teenager and was very big into fiction writing, to the extent that I have never received less than an 'A' on any piece of story writing that I have ever done in my life, all the way through school and also when doing an English Language & Literature A-Level at college. One of my pieces of work was randomly handed around my college's English department, collecting post-it notes from various tutors along the way with wonderful comments about their thoughts on the story.

This sounds good, right? Promising, right ? You must be thinking, "Wow, he must be good at writing!" Right? (Or perhaps more realistically, "Why is his head so far up his own tush?")

Wrong!

I stopped writing a few years ago, after my parents informed me that I would be allowed to live at home without a job for as long as I liked, so long as I was writing. Suddenly the pressure got to me and no matter how hard I tried, I was totally unable to write anything. I would get a page in at the very most, and then I would stop.

I've tried everything, every genre is there at my fingertips but I can't lean foward enough to grab onto any of them.

So I want your help.

I want you to tell me what you want to read about. I don't want your ideas, I'm not out to steal anything - I just want to know what you want to read about. Think about what you'd just enjoy inside a book, what would it be? Life? Robots? Kittens? Love?

Tell me to get off of my writing block and WRITE SOMETHING, ANYTHING.

If I see that enough people want to actually read stuff but maybe they haven't found anything suitable enough, then I am going to want to write.

I am relying on anyone that will read this.
Sidddian - I'm a 20-year-old transsexual who is engaged to a wonderfully 'normal' partner of three and a half years. I've done plenty of soul searching in my time. XD

I have a similar story to you, man and I wish I could just tell you straight how to find instant inspiration, as I've asked the same question, but in the end you can only write about what really comes from inside you.

Might be a shitty answer but I think it's true. The best thing I find tho' is writing about things that happen to me, editing slightly with my artistic license ;) perhaps changing names or so.

But yeah, sorry I can't do better than that. ^_^
