Telescope suggestions...?

I have a 4.5 inch reflector, I've had it for over 10 years, it is very dependable, but I am ready for something new and exciting. My price range is between roughly $500 - $900... I abhor computerized scopes, I want something I can take out, use my star atlas and my finderscope, and just star hop to my intended targets manually.
