Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I went to see this film today. As a fan of the 80's cartoon show i was looking forward to seeing it, but you always get that nagging doubt that the remake would be poor. Thankfully it isn't its a superb film, it carries on from the 1st turtles film and focuses on the tensions between the turtles and their new enemies. The animation i think is much better than any recent animated film. It was a preview screening i got to see today so i don't want to spoil it for anybody else, but if your a fan of the turtles then watch this film i highly recommend it.

Transformers has a lot to live up to.

Hello-
Has anyone else seen this movie yet who can confirm reports that the theatrical trailer for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is attached to it?

Please let me know if its true!

thanks!
Me!

Good film saw the preview on saturday.

going back to the turtles roots and away from the cartoons

it forgets the 2nd two films existed.

it incs trailers for harry potter, spider man 3, meet the robinsons and shrek 3

Thank you to those confirming a trailer does appear-

out of interest is it the teaser trailer that has been online for a while or a new trailer? Can you possibly estimate length for me?

much appreciated,
ryan

Shredder isn't in the film. The narrator does refer to him at the start of the film however.

April O'Neill (Voice is Sarah Michelle Gellar) is in the film as is Casey Jones.

I also saw this film at the weekend and I have to agree it was a pretty good film much better than I was expecting. I liked the Turtles when I was a kid, and seeing this reminded me how cool they can be  :p

The story moves along with a good pace and quite a lot of action, would have liked to have seen more of the turtles fighting together, but overall a really enjoyable film. Also really liked the animation.

I didn't get any trailers though :( , must have already been shown.

Actually, it's always been Ninja Turtles in the US and most of the world. From the Wikipedia entry:

The later programme was also retitled Hero Turtles: The Next Mutation (although the three movies all retained the original terminology, even when the BBC showed them!).

Saw is last night, brilliant film could have had alot more of the turtles fighting together i thought, but for a 90min film it as A-OK. Looks like the end they are leading to a follow on movie. I sure hope so.

I liked the fact that they were not trying to make the people look like people in the graphics departement looked brilliant with the roof top jumps and battle(s)
