What do you think of the live action ones not the cartoon?

I watched the first one last night for the first time in ages and its a classic.

Great film I think.
 
I wasn't keen on the sequels, but I agree with you on the first one, it's great. It's quite dark, unlike the sequels.

I think it was one of the first kiRAB films, that wasn't aimed solely at kiRAB.
 
I like them all due to nostalgia and it was good they made a darker comic book movie.It's very entertaining but not a well written movie at all (incoherent at times) - could have done with a bigger budget too.The second and third are strictly for kiRAB and are entertaining enough also.

I do think Jim Hensons creations still look great (much more convincing than CGI turtles).The fight scenes are very well choreographed too.
 
i like the first one the best,i did'nt enjoy the second or the third very much,casey jones is awesome in the first one,shredder's first appearance in the foot's warehouse was cool.
 
The first film is fantastic and I DO have a soft spot for the sequels. The CGI film is well worth it too, I really loved it. It deserves a sequel itself, but it probably won't happen. Isn't another live action outing rumoured? If they do it now it'll be crap. They should do Shredder returning in the CGI universe.
 
Have all three on DVD. Have to admit the first is the best, the second is not bad and the third was just a total peice of crap. Also have the CGI film aswell and must say it was not bad, it was more reminiscent of the comics than the old TV show, but then I loved the old TV show.
 
remember going to the cinema for the first film, the second on pirate video put me off watching the third one.

The coolest thing in the CGI film is all the memorabilia from the live action films on the Turtles' lair wall. Even the staff from the third film is pretty iconic!
 
I saw all of them in the cinema (was packed for the first one).I felt underwhelmed by the third movie the first time around,but have come to appreciate it more.It's a better made movie than the second.

The soundtrack to the first movie is really good.Spin That Wheel,Turtles Power and 9.95 are catchy songs.
 
I like the sequel more than the original.

3rd one is definately weaker than the NY based ones.

I do wonder why they stopped making them as they all made profit. First one alone made over $100 million profit.
 
The first film was amazing for the time and still a great watch if you were a child during the whole "turtle mania" era like I was.

The two sequels are rubbish, though. The second one isn't so bad and if not taken seriously but the third is tripe.
 
HUGE fan of the first one, and even got the soundtrack!!!

wasn't the biggest grossing independent movie after GHOST for nothing!!

I used to rent them every couple of weeks when I was about 10. I don't know why my mum didn't just buy them for me!

Not seen them in years though, it would probably look stupid compared to today's film standarRAB.
 
The first and second movies were great. The third not so good. There was also a CGI film, made in 2007, but that was several years too late for me to be interested! :p I also recall, about ten years ago, a live-action series featuring a new female Ninja Turtle. Bad move!
