Or should I just stay home with my mom?
Ok so I just got another one of my periods last night and Im going camping in San IssabellColoradod on Friday with my dad and my older brother. We might take our bear hunting dog. But I guess my question is should I use a tampon or pad and how often should i change it?
Please no rude comments.

My dad might have his gun with him and we will all have a hunting knife with us at all times.
Actually there are showers in the cabins where we stay at.
Lol i put the knife thing because I don't want to get mauled by a bear.Lol
 
I've been camping while on my period before. I used pads and it's fine. Take some medication with you for cramps and change as often as you can. If you can't shower or bathe, take baby wipes with you and wipe your area with those to feel clean. That's what I do and I survived.

P.S. No animal will attack you because you're bleeding. If they did I'd be dead right now. :P
 
Ok well thats kinda hard because its all guys. You should alternate between tampons and pads though. Wear a pad for like 2 or 3 hours then change into a tampon and wear for like 5 or 6 hours and keep alternating between the two. if you wear a pad all the time it becomes smelly. and if you wear tampons all the time you can catch Toxic Shock sydrome. Rare but serious disease
 
Why would we need to know that your dad has a hunting knife with him?
Anyway, I know I would just stay home.
But, if you really want to go, i think you should.
I Would wear tampons& it depends on how light/heavy you are & what size tampon you wear on how often you need to change it.

Kendra- She probably thinks bears or animals will smell the blood and get her. Thats why she said something about the knife.
 
Personally I would stay home. I'd hate to have to deal with my period while camping. I mean, there are no real facilities out there and imagine how nasty that would feel without being able to bathe while on your period! Even with a tampon you still have to change it every 4 or 5 hours or so. At least thats how often I do. Personally I'd just stay home.

....Why would you need a hunting knife when you are on your period?
