Alright, every person attending my highschool is required to take "Technology Foundations." Basically, they teach your how to type (and other shit I already know).
The thing is though, they do it stupidly. We sit in chairs that are extremely uncomfortable (sitting in it, you'd actually think the back slanted forward), and stupidest of all, typing is no longer just an arm-oriented activity.
We have to poisition our feet just so for "balance." I'm sorry, but the last time I lost my balance while typing was... wait, never. If you don't have the coordination to sit with your legs crossed (as I prefer to do), odds are you don't have the coordination to type either.
Also, we can't type with our wrists on anything. In fact, they have to be up in the air, to the point where I feel like I've got claws that I'm typing with. Plus, we type the same gibberish all the time: a;sldkfj, and other "excercises" that are designed to fry your skull from the inside. All of this combines to make me type even slower than normally (I type about 25 words per minute usually), and make it an exhausting process..
Oh, plus the computers are brand new, and they're buggy as hell (we're having "problems" combining windows XP with the Novell log in system).
