Technical help app err 523 will not boot

Hello,

I have a storm phone that has crashed while I am away on vacation. I have tried the usual methods from verizon wireless to reload the device software and the desk top manager will not recognize the device. The pc I am using will recognize that the device is plugged into the usb port. My screen has app error 523 on it. I have not been able to find any details on reloading the software manually. Does anyone know what I need to reload and how to do this? I am assuming the operating system and the device software need to be reloaded. I have backup data for my phone on my home pc so once I return I can get my data back. I just want to get the phone to boot for now and use as to make and recieve calls. Thank you so much,
