Tech Spec Tank Grips/Stomp Grips?

I have used the Tech Spec snakeskin on past 2 bikes, they work good but on the 848/1098/1198 you need to place them farther back on the tank, closer to your body to work well. And your knees need to be high up enough in the tank for them to work well.

I'm going to pick up both the seat and grips. But, I'll test out the seat first without the tank grip and go from there.

Anyone else have any sound bites on the new DP Racing Seat part# 96776608B. I heard that the new DP seat has a cover vesus the previous neoprene seat which was not covered and is no longer available.

thanks for everyone's feedback. I bought both the seat and tank grips today. I installed the seat and will test it out this weekend.
