Tech questions on MMS and data ... New to Pearl old to Rogers...

Hey everyone,
I just bought my pearl yesterday and it is my first blackberry... actually my first smart phone ever... It is awesome I think.

My intention was to buy an organizer with a calendar, tasks and notepad + more convenient then on a regular cell keypad to type. I'm doing my Master's, I work for Rogers (should be actually getting a blackberry from them but they are too cheap) and I have a girlfriend

Aww come on ZOMG, be nice.

Im gonna leave your questions for someone from your carrier. I have Sprint and things may be much different for me.

If you work for Rogers maybe you should visit this brand new forum called the CSR forum, for all reps to mingle... http://blackberryforums.rabroad.com/f119-blackberry_csr_talk.html

Have you ever talked to a Sprint Rep on the phone, they no less than my little pinky, no offense to anyone its just a stereotypical joke...

Well cause I don't work for a cell phone carrier... I work for a Cable Services provider (MSO) that is called Rogers CABLE!!!! So if you don't know the answers - don't garbage the thread please! Thank you!

Uh uh sorry if somehow what i said sounded mean. Forgot that Rogers isn't only selling cellphone service but here in quebec city, it is. For that 5-10 emails per day. I recommend the basic blackberry plan for 45$ with 150min of talk time but plans might be different for you.

Thanks for the advice =) Would you happen to know if I send MMS messages will it be counted against my data plan? Since I'll have 500K that really concerns me.

Thanks again!
