Tea's....making a weird noise? DONT LAUGH!?

I make myself tea A LOT and just now I made myself a cup the same way I make myself other cups. I set it down and was waiting for it to finish with the tea bag when I realized that that there was a little clicking noise coming from somewhere. I look over all of my things and then finally come down to my tea and it kept getting faster and louder O_O It tastes normal...

Could the cup be cracking? LOL just please don't laugh, this is my favorite cup I don't want it to break.
 
could be cup or just water soaking into tea bag. or if setting on a stone coaster then maybe stone heating up
