I have never created a series talkback before, so sorry for not having a picture like a lot of the talkbacks do, and sorry if there is already a thread for this, I did a search and didn't see anything so I figured I would give it a go.....

Anyway, who has seen the first couple episodes of this fantastic anime series? So far it's off to a great start with a fun and engaging story, great character designs and solid animation, I am really enjoying the action scenes and the whole story about Arawn being summoned and Riannon falling for him and trying to make him her hubby. I am really looking foward to seeing where this series goes, it will most likely end up being another 26 episode series like a lot of anime out there, but I would like to see this series have an extended run, but only if they can entertain us with good storytelling and action scenes, if not then I guess 26 episodes would work out fine. So whats everyones thoughts on this anime?

It's funnier when you realise it's a slightly off kilter retelling of King Arthur, using the more Celtic side of his origins.
 
It kind of is a retelling of the King Arthur tale, but it's got a cool twist to it and it seems like its going to be very engaging and entertaining from both a story and action standpoint. I'm very excited to follow this series, it's one of about 3 of 4 series that came out in April that have "grabbed" me and made me want to watch.
 
I'd have enjoyed it more if a friend of mine didnt take such perverse delight in telling me who (All of them!!) slept with who in the PC version of the game.

This series is my second new favorite anime this year (right behind Guin Saga), it's fun, engaging and the characters are very likable, but the action is where this series shines IMO. Like with other new animes, there seems to not be a lot of discussion on them in the anime forums here, I wonder why?
 
Well, look at the strikes it has against it. It's yet ANOTHER anime derived from an eroge. From the various trailers, it looks like it's also very haremish. Those things are gonna turn off a lot of people who arent going to give it a chance.

Honestly, if I didnt find out that the same crew behind Utawarerumono was behind it, I probably would have skipped it too. Glad I didnt.
 
Well, for those who may be interested in checking this series out but didn't because you didn't know what it was about or whatever, I figured I would give a brief plot summary for everyone so you know what you are missing. The series starts off with Rhiannon being kidnapped by a Priest named DRWC and his followers in hopes that they can rez an old demon lord named Arawn. They take her to his torab and the priest offers here as a sacrafice and out comes Arawn in a demon form right around the same time that Riannon's brother who's name is Arther, shows up. The demon transforms into a man and kills DRWC and he and Rhiannon share a vision and she falls in love with him and gives him a scarf that signifies that he is the leader of her village, but of course this ticks off Arthur, who refuses to accept it. They are about to be attacked by a group of skeleton warriors who revived when Arawn did and they band together to fight thier way out, which they manage to do and then they end up meeting Ogam and bump into Arthurs frienRAB where they all band together to take on a common threat. Meanwhile, Lord Gaius and his army is preparing to strike and to find out if the rez of Arawn is true or not, and thus a war is brewing. Kind of cool so far, I hope some people decide to check it out, it's a fun series........
