Team Galaxy?

Hi there, I'm new to these boards. I'm a big animation fan and my favourite animation is the stuff for US markets. So Avengers and Masters o the Universe 2002 are amongst my favs. I like some anime but I think there's a lot of nonsense out there.

One of my favourite toons is the unlikley Team Galaxy. I dunno why but I totally loved the few episodes I saw.

I was wondering if anybody could please help this newbie in getting more episodes?

I completely forgot about that show

After looking it up, I remember I used to catch it on tv when I'd come home from the summer job I had that time. I used to think these french-made shows (Moonscoop and Marathon) were taking over the cartoon channels but I don't see much of them anymore.

I remember watching that show on CN a couple of times. It didn't seem that special to me, honestly. Marathon was using the same three main characters device that they were using in Totally Spies, yet it just didn't feel that interesting. I thought that Martin Mystery was the most interesting out of all three of Marathon's cartoon series that I've seen since I did like their twist on paranormal activities. Team Galaxy just didn't seem to appeal to me.

Seconded. During its' brief stint on CN, I tried to give Team Galaxy a chance, but it just didn't click with me. A lot of it seemed like wasted potential: for one thing, it was set in the future and/or space, in a school full of aliens, droids, symbiotes and the like, yet the 3 principal characters were all humans. You'd have thought the writers could've tossed an extraterrestrial student into the mix for a mild point of variety. It also didn't help how, as LL pointed out, the title trio seemed to be playing along the same archetypes as in previous Marathon shows; the girl member (I'm blanking on her name right now) was enough like Totally Spies!'s Clover to ber her cousin.

I did not like Team Galaxy when it was on CN for like 2 weeks or so.The only one of Marathon's shows I enjoy is Totally Spies. Totally Spies use to be my favorite show but lately I have been watching the Powerpuff girls online and now that's my favorite show.

I dunno, but it appeals to me in the same way Galaxy High used to and I think the animation is lovely to look at.

But can anybody help me in getting episodes?

I got some art nice for trade? If anybody has any of the following DVD's - He-man, She-Ra, MASK, Dungeons & Dragons, Ulysses 31, Conan, Marvel 60's shows, 90's Iron Man, Transformers: Robot in Disguise and Fraggle Rock, chances are you have my artwork already! ;)

No, all the episodes haven't aired on CN Video either. CN Video only aired 13 episodes, and the series has now aired 52 episodes in Canada and France.

It's a series done by the same guys who did Totally Spies!, and I'm assuming it led to another name change Nintendo had to adapt to. The initial change was when they were going to have the original name of Pocket Monsters over here, but thought people would be confused with a series called Pocket Dragon Adventures that came out around the same time, so they shortened it. And they changed the name of the D/P team (the Ginga-Dan in Japan, which would be Team Galaxy translated) to Team Galactic.

Nobody here will be able to answer your question, unless the show has had an official DVD release somewhere in the world, you have a regionless DVD player, and are looking for a trade. Our general rules of conduct explicitly state: "No discussion of how to illegally acquire copyrighted material or links to websites promoting subversion of copyright."

Sorry, but them's the breaks. There are people in the industry who prowl around here, and we can't be seen as condoning or encouraging copyright violations.

As far as I can tell, this show has also never been released officially on DVD, though I'd be happy to be proven wrong on that.

If there are people in the industry who prowl here, listen up. If you don't want people to share your shows online, put them on DVD. There are countless shows people would like to get on DVD, but apparently nobody bothers to listen to them, so the Internet and P2P sites are the only options.

Well, the series is finally on DVD........ sorta!

A 4 disc, region 2, set has finally appeared in France, but the details are rather vague and I can't tell if it comes with just the French language audio, or with both French AND English language audio! 'Tis so annoying!! If I was certain, I would have this set on order by now
