tealock - too good?

tealock seems to have had some great press on here - seesm very powerful, encryptions etc but i just want to "hide" certain spreadsheets / documents etc (mostly excel, some media files) and thePalm and Docs to go do not provide "private" even for them.
Is teal too much for what I want - and does it do the simple stuff? Or can anyone suggest anything as an alternative.

Regards
Dave

Dave,

There are lots of programs at www.palmgear.com that you may want to try. You can also try at www.freewarepalm.com as well.

You'll find that most of the power users will use something that might be considered over the top. TealLock is a great program. I personally don't store anything on my machine that needs to be quite so secret. However, no handheld device is totally secure anyway and a good hacker is going to get your info or break the device trying.

I'd suggest trying out the various programs at the two links- you can search using "security" or "password" for those that might interest you better.

That's the great thing about freeware or shareware is try before you buy......which if the program doesn't give you either a 15 day usage period or several working trials.....it's probably not worth the cost, imho.
