I'm interested in the teacher's education program at the University of Victoria. I haven't heard that much about it, most people I know are going to SFU or UBC. But I think the program at uVic looks really great and I would be able to receive my degree faster. I think it would be beneficial as instead of completing a Bachelor's degree in an irrelevant subject and doing one year of teacher's education, I could do three years of teacher's education at uVic and get a Bachelor of Education (honestly, will a major in Geography or English really benefit me when I'm teaching elementary?)
