I want to get a dwarf pufferfish (I did the research and everything) because many said pufferfish were more interactive fish than others. It'll be alone because they're aggressive, and I have the tank set up. Is it possible to teach it to swim through (or jump through) a hoop? Procedure is as follows...
1. Put the hoop in the water every time I feed him to associate the hoop with food
2. Put the food of the other side of the hoop to teach him that he gets food when he swims through the hoop
3. (this is after weeks of practice) possibly raise the hoop higher and higher each time until it's halfway out of the water, then fully out of the water (pufferfish are capable of jumping)
Will this work? Will the jumping one work? Please give opinion.
