TCPMP 0.66 problem ?

I have after reading through the palm forum downloaded and installed the TCPMP program and as everybody has said it is superb. I have one question if any body can help, I have just tryed to play a file and get the error "MPEG4 Divx/XviD: interlaced video is not supported. Will this type of file not play or am I missing a plug-in or something

Just to explain the problem... Interlacing is where a video (for example a 25 frames per second video), is split up into 50 "fields" per second, (using alternate lines). The result is smooth video playback on CRT screens, (like TV's), but "mice teeth" artifacts when played on TFT screens. When the size of a video is re-encoded to fit the screen of a handheld, this problem would normally disappear anyway.
The long and short of it, anyway, is that when you encode to DivX/XviD from an interlaced source, you need to make sure the DivX/XviD codec is set to "Progressive" (i.e. deinterlace), or that you have deinterlacing running on the encoding program, (i.e. as a filter in VirtualDub)
