TB Test ... and now I have a raised bump that will not go away? what the hell!!?

I have had TB testing previously done (for nursing school) back in 2005. The test came back negative and I had no reaction or anything at all.
Now, I went for TB testing again... even after I told the nurse I already had it. this was monday of last week.
I now have a raised bump?
I'm really freaking out, because I'm pretty sure a raised bump means positive...

SO does this mean I have TB in my system or have been exposed to it? (I have been a nursing student for 3 years and have been exposed to a variety of different patients)
This is really freaking me out. The nurse noted and measured my raised bump...but said it was not positive. It only got bigger since then... I'm so worried about this

A chest X-ray is advised for positive TB readings. Why she said it was negative, I am not sure. Diameter of the induration can also be a factor.

You need to call the nurse immediately and notify her of the increase in size.

I would call and let them know that it has gotten bigger. Better safe than sorry even though they noted that it was negative. A friend of mine is a teacher and has had several previous TB tests done for her job, and one year, she tested positive. TB is really easy to spread and often doesn't exhibit symptoms right away. Not to worry though, my friend just had to take some meds for awhile and it cleared up.
