first, you have to jack a car / kill someone, that usually gets you a star. Then, you have to lose the star. Worse, you wind up plowing some darwin winners who jump in front of you, then your stars go up.

Before you know it, instead of getting to a destination, you're running from the po po.

As much fun as it is plowing people down and shit, sometimes you want to get somewhere without dying or getting people killed, specially if it's a friend that you want to get their special ability unlocked.

The abilities you get from your friends? Like Roman will give you free taxi's when his Like is a certain percentage/

the taxi has spoiled me and made me lazy in this game. because when i get to a mission where i am force to drive, i get irritated that i cant jump in a taxi and get there

I use taxi all the time. So much easier to just call a taxi and skip to the location then having to drive and avoid hitting a cop or a pedestrian.

I don't get why you guys would want to avoid the cops or running people over? That would be like playing Half-Life but avoiding having to shoot aliens.

I use it often, but not all the time.. It gets pretty irritating when you try and jack a ride and there is always a cop around, which can lead to more stars and getting hurt etc.

Did you get liberty city minute? I wonder how much driving can affect the time spent in SP and how much a taxi can help. I took a taxi just to be safe so I would get it.
