This came on filmfour yesterday, and i watched it, i liked it - anybody else watched this???

Seen it a few times, great film.

Watched it a few years ago and now have it on DVD.

One of the best films ever .. acting, directing and the Insomniac/loner issues is first class. De Niro could have easily won an Oscar for it.

Should would have been 14.

For me you have the greatest actor and actress there is in the same movie.

Harvey Keitel is also excellent in it as Sport. In fact even the minor parts like Andy the gun salesmen, Peter Boyle and the other taxi drivers and Scorsese as the jealous, demented husband fantasising about killing his cheating wife are superb.

But there are at least 5 Scorsese flicks i prefer to it and i doubt i'd ever watch it again as it's one of those films that you watch and love as a moody teenager but grow out as you reach adulthood.

Got me gripped that film did all the way to the end, perfect film in my opinion.
