Taurus Judge... dry fire?

I just bought a taurus judge.. and the little orange piece that came with it is broken. the piece that blocks the firing pin from the cilindar...
my question is.. if i get a few .45 snap caps, is the judge safe to dry fire? i know some guns can be finiky about dry firing even with snapcaps.. so i just thought i'd ask...

you can dry fire any gun ! there's noway it can hurt the gun ! ANY GUN !
